Surviving a four-SGD marathon
We've had four IICBS's—a fancy name for small group discussions—for our third day of Internal Medicine.
At 8 am with Dr. Dans. He treated us to a breakfast of coffee, hot chocolate, and mango pies. Paper case was on fever.
At 10 am with Dr. Salvana. Case was on malaise—literally "bad air" in French, we learned.
At 1:30 pm with Dr. Macatula. We were surprised to see someone so young. Case was on chest pain.
At 4 pm with Dr. Strebel. Case was on dyspnea.
It's amazing how much we've learned from professors, especially things that aren't even mentioned in books.
Onward!
