Filling the entire page, forcing the reader to scroll down

The January 2010 header is seven days late. I've adjusted the masthead size to 800x600 pixels from the usual 800x200; it's the first time I've done this. I'm still sticking to my color combo. Thanks to Michael's blog for the inspiration.
